Does the firing of the Goodmans mean the Broncos are going in a new direction for financial reasons , or does Pat Bowlen have an ace up his sleeve ?

Broncos Front OfficeI hope that joker doesn't mean McDanials! In my opinion it was to drastic of a move. Bowlen should have taken away the Pres. of football operations title away before firing Shannahan. Mike hasn't done much with the D since trading for Champ Bailey. So far many of Shannahan, and the Broncos draft picks have only been average players. D.J. Williams has steped up, Moss hasn't done much. Losing Al Wilson hurt, he being the D vocal leader. McD bringing in Brian Dawkins in should help the D moral. The question now is who is going to play opposite of Champ, in the Corner Back position. Dre Bly did a good job, but he wasn't the corner he was signed to be. Many including myself didn't see Bly being any better than when he was with the Rams. We need Jay Cutler back in the worst way. |
